LOUISVILLE, KY: The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) has again awarded Grady-White Boats the CSI Award, the trade association’s top recognition for customer satisfaction. This is the twelfth year of the association’s study of customer satisfaction among boat and boat engine owners. Grady-White has received the award in the category of fiberglass outboard boats all twelve years.
The marine industry CSI Award program honors participating manufacturers that actively measure customer satisfaction and pursue continuous improvement to better serve the customer. The 2013 award recipients achieved and maintained an independently measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction, based on information provided by customers purchasing a new boat or engine during the period between April 1, 2012 and March 31, 2013. Participating manufacturers must survey all new boat buyers during this period. For this reporting period, the program surveyed more than 50,000 consumers.
Grady-White received an exceptionally high benchmark score.
Award recipients were acknowledged during the annual Industry Breakfast at the International Boatbuilders Exhibition and Conference (IBEX), on September 17, 2013, at the Kentucky Exposition Center, Louisville KY.
“Customer satisfaction is critical to the success and growth of the recreational boating industry and its CSI award recipients that set the bar on delivering an exceptional customer experience,” notes Robert Newsome, director of engineering standards for NMMA. “We are proud and flattered to be recognized once again for excellence in customer satisfaction by the NMMA with this amazing twelfth CSI award in a row,” said Shelley Tubaugh, vice president of marketing at Grady-White Boats. “Grady-White Boats and Grady-White dealers believe that our dedication to achieving the very highest levels of customer satisfaction is an acknowledgement that we are reaching our goal of providing our customers with the ultimate boating experience through owning a Grady-White.”
